The Society at Scot Sheep 2016
The Kerry Hill Flock Book Society was in attendance at Scotsheep on 1st June at Blythbank Farm, around 20 miles from Edinburgh. The farm is 1300 acres and was home to Dolly the sheep. It now has 3000 sheep, 200 cattle and 320000 hens. There were 4 of us to man the stand, Roy Fishwick and his daughter, and myself ( Cath Kewley) and my husband Martin. Roy kindly brought a ram, an aged ewe and her 2 lovely ewe lambs for display (see photos). The day was warm and sunny which brought the crowds out. We had many enquiries about the sheep and where and when our sales are. We met many interesting people from among the public and other trade areas. All in all we had a great day out.
